Dimensions for Vm Series Carburetors
NOTE: Adapting OEM Airbox to New VM Mikuni Carb
The New VM Carb has an OD of approx. 2.25" on the engine side.
Your Airbox maybe approx. 2" OD.
You can go to your Local Auto Parts & purchase a Radiator hose with these dimensions or
Checkout Part# 8103 From NAPA Auto Parts or Part# 21405 Gates Rubber Co.
1. 2.25" ID on one end and the other end is 2' & Clamps
2006 & Newer May have a different airbox Hose, one end is oblong and the other end is Round 2" ID. If this is what you have, It will be necessary to purchase a radiator hose that is 2 1/4" ID. X 4" long. Then cut the hose to fit over the OEM hose and seal it.

Trouble Shooting Your Carb Installation:
We at PJMotorsports Understand That your ATV Engine Has Good Compression, CDI Box and Coil are in good working order. Plug is good or new. Gas cap is well vented. Fuel tank Petcock screen is removed. Also its necessary to check carburetor Boot for Air leaks. If you don't Know the history of your ATV, these items have been problems in the past.
After Installation Check these Items"
#1 Throttle cable is fully extended.
#2 Chock cable is fully extended so that it is in off position.
#3 Make sure that there isn't a vacuum leaks.
